this is an experiment. a hopefully successful experiment.
the title of the blog is from two very powerful Bible verses, two favorite verses of mine: Proverbs 31 and 2 Corinthians 12:9
Proverbs 31 says the Wife of Noble Character is worth far more than rubies. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says that God's grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect when we are weak and in our struggles.
since our lives are all scattered and we are all on different paths, i hope the purpose of this blog serves as a place to share thoughts, laughs (LOTS of laughs), a virtual sanctuary, a place to share prayer requests... and with that we can look to the Proverbs woman as an example and be reminded of God's sovereignty like in 2 Corinthians.
for now, i just wanted to get a sense of permanence with the blog and set up site. i am currently looking for the first book to begin our first online Bible study. if you have any suggestions, please feel free to suggest/post and i will make you are a user so you can write your own posts as well!
i look forward to our new adventures, learning about where each of us are in our lives, and how we will grow along the way. and hopefully the blog will evolve with us!
